Real TVRs used for Racing
This TVR Tuscan is raced by Tim Hood in the Carlube TVR Tuscan Challenge. The TVR is entered by Bachmann Europe plc and one of its sponsors is SCX. A real car sponsored by a slot car manufacturer! Like all the TVRs here, it has a 4.5l V8 engine.
This TVR Tuscan is driven by Pete Osborne. I wonder who didn't close the door properly!
This TVR Tuscan is raced by Richard Hay. There are some photographs of the controls and the 4.5 litre V8 engine.
This TVR Tuscan is driven by Bob Ross of Bob Ross Racing. I like yellow cars as yellow ones go faster. However Bob was going so fast he lost control and left the circuit.
This is another good looking TVR Tuscan driven by Richard Stanton. It is in the yellow and black livery of its sponsor Dewalt including a black drill.
This red and white TVR Tuscan is raced by Vincent Velutini. He is supported by Race Sport who also support the Dewalt TVR.
The number 58 TVR Tuscan (below) is driven by Ben Samuelson. Most of the photographs shown his car being serviced in the paddock after qualifying before the Carlube TVR Tuscan Challenge Sprint Race. The photos also show the 4500cc v8 engine.
This mostly yellow TVR Tuscan is driven by David Mason who at the point the photos were taken was second in the Carlube TVR Tuscan Challenge. Some people think red cars are faster, however I think it is the yellow that makes David's TVR go faster.
In the same colours as David (above), this TVR Tuscan is driven by Hugh Marshall. I have included some pictures of the gorgeous 4.5 litre V8 engine and the other bits found in the engine bay.
Here are some other TVRs, all with 4500cc V8 engines, competing in the Carlube TVR Tuscan Challenge.
